Charged with providing diverse educational and high quality recreational experiences to the public, especially young people to care for animals, and the environment they live in, we use animals under our care as ambassadors. Through sharing our passion, knowledge, we believe that a caring attitude, and conservation action can be inspired, in both our onsite and offsite programs.
Each year we receive more than 260,000 guests who engage in an impromptu educational encounter with our staff or volunteers. We endeavor to reach out to the less privileged schools and communities through organizing talks, exhibitions, camps, overnights and educational trips to compliment the national curriculum of formal conservation education.
